This position is located in the Atlanta office.

The paralegal team performs a wide range of substantive case, matter and entity related duties by supporting our attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing legal counsel, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma

  • Basic knowledge in MS Word and Excel

  • Flexibility to work overtime

Preferred Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree and/or a paralegal certificate highly preferred

  • 1 year experience in a law firm supporting paralegals and/or attorneys

  • Experience supporting a litigation practice group

  • Setting up e-rooms for all litigation and labor-litigation and any future IP cases

  • Maintaining e-rooms by entering all pleadings, discovery, correspondence, etc into e-room folders

  • Maintaining same pleading information on the DMS in Pleading FoldersSending filed documents to docketing (checking weekly docket, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention-to-detail

  • Proficient in MS Outlook

  • Database experience

What will your day look like?

Your responsibilities will include assisting attorneys and paralegals in maintaining case files and creating and updating databases and web-rooms. You will also conduct research and analyze data from a variety of sources for incorporation into briefs and drafting summary reports. Additional duties include compiling documents in support of briefs and witness interviews, organizing document productions, and preparing detailed indices for attorney review. Finally, you may assist with projects that use litigation software, including: Relativity, Concordance, and CaseMap.
